Does the price include bed linen and towels?
Yes.

Is there a washing machine and a tumble dryer?
Yes.

Is there an iron and ironing board?
Yes.
 
Are there shops in the area?
There is a shop on Kippford Caravan Park and there are small supermarkets, newsagents, butchers and bakers around 5 minutes drive away in Dalbeattie. There is a larger Tesco store in Castle Douglas.
 
Is there storage for bikes?
Yes, in the garage.

What happens with keys for the house?
Keys will be provided in the house on arrival

Do you provide a high chair?
Yes

Can we bring pets?
Sorry, no.

Is smoking allowed?
Sorry, Timber Trails is strictly no smoking. 

Do you offer short breaks?
Sorry, we only do full weeks.
 
What happens if we have to cancel our booking?
More than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date, the reservation deposit is forfeited.
Between 8 and 6 weeks prior to the arrival date, 50% of the total weekly rate will be forfeited.
Between 6 and 4 weeks prior to the arrival date, 75% of the total weekly rate will be forfeited.
Within 28 days of the arrival date, 100% will be forfeit.
Cancellations must be made in writing.

What is the reservation deposit and when is this due?
This is a non-returnable deposit of 25% of the advertised rate to reserve the house for yourselves. We will send a Holiday Confirmation Sheet for you to sign. The deposit cheque should be sent when you return this sheet.

When is the final payment due?
8 weeks before arrival. This is the advertised rate for the week minus the reservation deposit

What is the housekeeper’s deposit?
This is a cheque for £100. This cheque is only presented in the event of damage to the property nothwithstanding normal wear and tear, or if excessive after stay cleaning is required. It is otherwise returned to you the week after the rental period.
